The forest surrounding the property provides a unique location with significant potential for further development. Silver Mountain resort was developed in 2008-2011, with financing from Banca Comerciala Romana. In 2014, the project was taken over by BCR, which is currently looking for an investor to acquire the entire site.
In order to offer the best leisure and sports mix, further 44 hectares of land owned by the City Hall are leasehold meant to accommodate an 18-holes Internationally Executive Golf Course.
